Welcome to Arafura Living

Welcome to Arafura Living, where the azure waters of the Arafura Sea meet the shores of Northern Australia, invoking a sense of carefree living. Drawing inspiration from the rustic beauty of landscapes across Darwin and its friendly communities, we celebrate natures’ gifts through healthy, ethical, and sustainable products.

Our collections harness the restorative powers of Australian native botanicals harvested respectfully throughout Australia. Guided by Indigenous wisdom passed down through generations, we craft natural self-care rituals, nutritional superfoods, and eco-friendly essentials to support conscious living.

Join us on a journey where sustainability meets authenticity. At Arafura Living, we honour the world’s oldest culture, the spirit of Australia by bringing tranquillity and ethos into your everyday life."

Amanda's Background

Amanda Essery (née Chin) is a sixth generation Australian born Chinese from Darwin, The Northern Territory. Her free spirited and humble upbringing exposed her to the culinary love of food where her father Tony, a self-taught chef owned a restaurant with her late grandparents, using the best local produce and natural ingredients in cooking which influenced the course of her future. Deeply engrained by Indigenous culture which shaped the early years of Amanda’s life in the Northern Territory, she has a profound respect of Aboriginal native bush food and medicine.
